The politicians wanted this so that they could use these animals as weapons against our enemies; little did they know that all that they created would also turn on them and the world. This is the beginning of the end of the world as it was. Special agent Hugh Fallon receives a distress call from his ex-girlfriend Susan Chambers who is the leading geneticist in the world. Susan tells Fallon that she is being followed and that she is scared and wants to meet. Fallon flies into San Francisco to meet Susan and she explains what the government wants her to do; to bring back two prehistoric animals, the Sabre-Toothed Tiger and the Dire Wolf giving them Intelligence so they could be used as instruments of war.
Special agent Hugh Fallon checks into Susan Chambers claim and finds that she is in extreme danger, from Foreign Governments as well as her own. His bureau chief; JOHN HURLEY, tells Fallon to bring Susan Chambers in or his orders are to eliminate her. The Catalyst Code is a high-concept sci-fi action drama set thirty years in the future, that explores themes of control, autonomy, and the consequences of playing god with human consciousness. At its core, the story follows a Agent Nicole Beretta as she uncover a conspiracy involving a powerful biotech company that manufactures implants designed not just to “enhance” humanity, but to control it. When Beretta is tasked to investigate and take down a powerful syndicate that’s responsible for creating a world-changing device for cognitive weaponization and neural manipulation, she uncovers the truth behind a funding project called Project Dolos and realizes that their agenda is much more insidious than she realizes.
As she further makes strides in closing the case, she’s hit with a new crisis, the mysterious murder of her parents. As evidence points to a strong connection with the government through called Project Dolos, Beretta decides to pursue this case in a private matter, believing that now...it’s personal.
The narrative combines grounded futuristic world-building and an emotionally charged human struggle with high-concept sci-fi undertones. Tone blends the tactical intensity of Sicario or Zero Dark Thirty with the sci-fi mystery and ethical dilemmas of The Matrix or Westworld. Audiences will be drawn into a landscape of neon-lit cities, urban tactical environments, government black sites, and sterile highsecurity tech facilities along with high-octane action sequences, adrenaline-fueled shootouts and exciting over-the-top combat in the style of martial arts. The atmosphere is cold, clinical, and claustrophobic, reflecting the moral ambiguity and paranoia embedded in the story. Within this highstakes battle, characters wrestle with loyalty, identity, and survival, blurring the lines between man, machine, and morality.
The script, running 90+ pages, has been developed with the flexibility to expand across formats. As a two-part theatrical film, each installment would run approximately two hours, delivering a complete cinematic arc while leaving room for deeper exploration of its world. Alternatively, the story is structured to seamlessly adapt into a six-episode limited series, with each episode running one hour— allowing for richer character development, layered subplots, and an immersive, serialized narrative experience.
Patrick Deal serves as both the creator and sole writer. Whether experienced in theaters or through episodic television, The Catalyst Code is designed to be a gripping, emotionally resonant, and visually cinematic journey into the future of humanity
